There are very few locations that are truly perfect for every couple.

Somehow, Caumsett State Park manages to be exactly that.

It is a little bit nautical, a little bit rustic, and a little bit elegant.

Caumsett State Park has everything you could want, all found in one unbelievably beautiful spot for wedding photographs.

It is stretching across 1,500 acres between the Long Island Sound and Lloyd Harbor.

The Preserve was once a Jazz Age estate.

The venue was purchased and developed in the 1920s as a glamorous, spacious retreat from busy, crowded city life.

In the 1960s it became a state owned, open for all to explore and enjoy, but it still retains much of its Golden Age charm and style.

Whether you wish to wander by the water or escape into the woods, you’ll feel right at home at Caumsett.

The acres of woodland trails are beautiful no matter the season, though we particularly love to stroll here in the fall when the trees are a riot of red and gold leaves. Open meadows are lush and green in the summer, leading you towards the waterfront and the Long Island Sound, where you can slip off your shoes and enjoy a stroll on the beach. And don’t forget the historic Henry Lloyd Manor, an estate house with elegant stone terraces that provide the perfect spot for a few glamorous moments.

No matter when you visit, Caumsett Park is a beautiful, welcoming escape from the world.

Wonderful Long Island location.
